Standing at the edge of Lake Seren stood a boy. He looked about 16 and was almost six feet tall. The wind rushed through his white and golden hair as he looked out at an island in the middle of the lake. "Where are you?" He said clenching a rock. He looked up at the sky, shouting the same words and throwing the rock as if somtheing were there. Seeing the calm night sky wth the full moon eased his mind a little, but he was still mad.
Suddenly, a feeling came over him. He rushed into the water, swimming for the island. Almost half way there, he caught sight of a silver and black figure.
It's radient, bright purple eyes watched as he tried not to get dragged down by his baggy clothes.
The closer he got to the figure the more it took shape of a wolf. It's black and silver fur had bits of leaves and specks of dirt stuck on it. The silver fur moved through the black making strange markings and designs on her body. It's tail moved through the wind like a buning fire.
"Seren," he shouted. The wolf reached her head down as he reached his arms around her neck, getting a tight grip on her fur. She pulled up, trieing to get him out of the cold, icy water.
Once on land, Seren held her head over his shoulder to pull him in closer and make sure no wind hit im while he was wet. But, though she tried, his breaths were still shaken by the cold, and his body still shivered as he driffted asleep.
She unwound a small cloth from around her leg to use as a blanket. But before long his body morphed into that of a wolves. Gold and white fur covered his entire body. His eyes flashed to colors of gold and red. "Teiranar, teiranar: tomarrow, tomarrow," Seren said looking at his sleeping self. "Tomarrow".
